Joe A. Delgado, 81, was born in Dallas, Texas to Jose I. Delgado and Antonia Nuñez on March 19, 1934. He passed away in Dallas, Texas on July 21, 2015. Joe was a person who enjoyed the comforts of his home. He enjoyed watching many TV shows, movies, sports and series. He enjoyed the company of beloved wife and on many occasions they cooked together. As a young man, Joe was an avid baseball player and distinguished pitcher for his team. Later in life, Joe became a devoted parishioner at the Cathedral Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Despite his headstrong and adamant nature, Joe had loving relationships with his family, especially with his daughter and furry friend a miniature pincher whom he loved dearly. Joe is loved and will be greatly missed by all those whose heart he touched. He is survived by his daughter, Evelyn Delgado and his beloved pet dog, Mia. He joins his loving wife, Lydia Delgado to be with Our Lord. He is also predeceased by his 5 brothers, Raymond, Carmen, Santiago “Jimmy”, Jesse, and Jose Jr. “Joe”. Prayer Service will be held at 10AM on Monday, August 10, 2015 at Calvary Hill Cemetery with inurnment to follow.
