

Joe was born on May 28, 1940, in Austin, Texas, to Lillian and Joe Tydlaska. Raised in Dallas, he pursued his education at Texas A&M University, where he earned a B.A. in accounting in 1962. He earned his CPA license and spent his career as a public accountant. He subsequently met Janet Reynolds and they were married for 56 years. Joe and Janet formed an accounting firm and worked until they retired. Their marriage is a testament to the power of love and loyalty.
Joe served as president of the Board of St. Michael’s School in Dallas while his sons were students, and he coached their elementary soccer and basketball teams. He also served on the board of the National Association of Basketball Coaches for many years. Along the way he became a Mason and served as a Dallas trustee for Texas Scottish Rite for Children.
Joe was predeceased by his parents; brother, Ronald Tydlaska; and daughter-in-law, Melissa Clayton Tydlaska.
Joe is survived by his loving wife, Janet; his children, Joe Wessley Tydlaska and his wife Stephanie, and John Allen Tydlaska; and two grandchildren, Meryl and Garet.
