John David Gamez

John David was a mechanic with over 26 years experience with Gamez Automotive. He was a passionate car enthusiast who found joy in racing and restoring vehicles. His love for high-octane thrills was matched only by his enthusiasm for WWE, Marvel movies, and music that surrounded him while working.

John David was known for his big heart, sense of humor, and his love for his daughters. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who shared in his unique spirit and energy.

He is survived by his children, Krystal, Victoria, Diana and their mother, Teresa. As well as his grandchildren Esco and Giselle. He is also survived by his parents, David & Esmeralda Gamez and his siblings Daniel, Valerie, Cynthia, Christina and David. He leaves behind a large and loving extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins who brought great joy to his life.

A celebration of life for John will be held Friday, May 9, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Grove Hill Funeral Home, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228.
