John A Martinez

Johnny was born on May 19, 1944, in Dallas, TX to Arturo Sr & Natividad Martinez and passed away on May 28, 2026. Johnny was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose life was marked by faith, hard work, humility, and unconditional love. Though he had little formal education and began working at a young age, he built a life rich in the things that mattered most: family, integrity, and trust in Jesus Christ.

Above all, Johnny was a family man. He loved deeply, gave selflessly, and was always there when someone needed him. Through his example, his children learned how to work hard, love generously, stand strong through life's challenges, and keep Christ at the center of everything.

Johnny is proceeded in death by parents Arturo Sr & Natividad Martinez and siblings Nettie, Arturo Jr, Sebastian, Mary, Margie & Raymond. Survived by his 6 loving children John Jr., Connie, Angela & spouse Pedro, Priscilla, Timothy & spouse Marticia, Renae & Joe; brothers Paul & Charlie Martinez. He was the cherished grandfather of Crystal, Frank, Nina, Amanda, Chris, Brittany, Stephanie, Javier, Ariel, Katie, Alexis, Alaina, Ashley, Sam, Korina, Jeremy, Joshua, Timothy Jr., Christie, Martin Jr. and Jacob. He also leaves behind 33 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Grove Hill Funeral Home, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228, US, on June 3, 2026. Open visitation from 5:00 pm to 8:00pm.

A Funeral Service will take place at Grove Hill Funeral Home, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228, US, on June 4, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.  

A Committal Service will be held at Grove Hill Memorial Park, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228, US, on June 4, 2026, from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm.
