John (Tootie), I am so honored to have been your cousin, but, you were more like my brother.  I hope you know how much I loved and respected you..You will be in my heart forever!  All my love, rest in peace!

Rest in Peace John. So glad I got to meet you and experience a fun weekend with you and Jenni. You both were so lucky to have found each other and were so happy! Prayers surround Jenni, Kelli, Breylea and Trent and John's family.

John, I will miss you something fierce. You were my rock when Tommy was sick and you were always willing to come to our rescue if we needed you. You always told it like it was and a very hard working man. Your smile lit up a room.  I thank you for being in my life and a dear friend this past 20 years. Thanks for taking me fishing and freezing my butt off during that time haha.  Tommy & I truly miss you and love you. And when you are in heaven do the occasional kick in the pants to Tommy for me down here on earth just to keep him on his toes.  Rest easy my friend, we will meet again one day and we will go fishing.  love you   Penny & Tommy

It was a pleasure and a privilege getting to know John through Jenni and her fabulous family. We will miss John's sense of humor and gentle nature (which seemed to evaporate only when he was riled up over displays of disrespect)! Is there anyone who met this gentlemen who didn't adore him?? What an all-around great guy, whom we lost much too soon.

John was definitely a hard working man  at home on the job and even the {play time} hunting fishing ect. He would take care of anything that was asked of him and many times he would just do  it.He took great care of family as needed. He will be missed in construction field buy his friends and hunting and fishing stories will be fewer.John make some new ones now in your new resting place.We will meet again.

What a great person, a great man and a great friend! I will miss calling you on the phone and hearing your special way of saying "Hello" and mostly I will miss you discussing my "sparkles".  It was a true pleasure to know you!  Much love!

John was an incredible human on so many levels. He was a true hard working man that took care of many things for his many friends and family. I'm truly thankful for getting to know him and to call him my friend. He was a "real" man with a real big heart. What I wouldn't give for a chance to say good bye. I'll never forget you John, big brother and all that you taught me. I know you're rejoicing in heaven now. I wanna tell you to rest easy now and go fishing, but I know you wouldn't do it.
