John Dee Tucker was born February 13, 1924 in Quitman, TX to Walter & Marietta Tucker and passed away October 18, 2014 in Rowlett, TX. He is preceded in death by his wife, Samye Tucker; brothers Raymond & Oney and sister, Clara. John is survived by children: Paula Anne Crook & husband Robert, Ronald Steven Tucker & wife Mary and Gregory Alan Tucker & wife Darci; grandchildren: Angel Long, Nicole Castano, Scott Tucker, Cortney Tucker & Christine Tucker and 9 great-grandchildren. John retired after many years with Ballard Venders. He had a great love for his family and will be greatly missed. Visitation is 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Grove Hill Funeral Home Chapel with interment following at Grove Hill Memorial Park.
