To the Washington Family:

My heart is with you during this time of loss. I was so saddened to hear of John’s passing. Please know that I’m holding you and your family in my prayers.

John, my sweet baby! I Love you forever! You have made my life worth living. You have taught me so much about life, it’s amazing. I am so much better because you plant seeds that have rooted and will blossom forever. 

Rest on in Heaven BABY you finished your course and you kept the faith. You would never let no one tell you about your God. Now you get to rest from all your Labor of Ministry.

We will remember everything you taught us and how you encouraged/made laugh so many along your journey. The kindness you shared will always be remembered.

Thinking about John, I say John, John, John. I went to school with John. John been apart of this family for over 50 years.  Every time we saw John he was talking about food. “Ain’t nobody cook no food, yall don’t believe in eating” he made us laugh, he always had a joke or just his presence made you laugh, everybody knew what he wanted when we saw him. He will truly be missed. Monique, you were an amazing wife, we know you love yo John and he Loved you. I know there will be times when you just think about him and laugh, and times you gonna cry. Just know I’m praying for you, and your Faith in God will help you get thru this. There is no time limit on grief. I am here for you and the girls, to talk, to cry, to laugh. Hold your head up and keep going. God have given you task.complete what you have been given. I love you, you was that proverb 31 wife. Stand tall, be proud. Remember Job well done.

Hello Cousins,

John will always have a place in our hearts.   I will always remember John for his joking, for teaching me the tricks and trades of the Real Estate business, navigating family gatherings and always wanting to know when was the food ready.  He was genuine and set his own standards for his life.  His presence will be missed, but John will never be forgotten.  My thought and prayers are with you Mo, Brandy and Ashley.
