It saddens my heart to read about my dentist Dr. Payne passing to glory, I am devastated to say the least His incredible work made a life-changing experience for me. My thought and prayers goes to his family, friends and members of staff.

I just found out that Mack had passed away because I needed his dental expertise. I am so saddened to hear this news. I know almost a year has passsed since he left us, but I hope the family continues to know that he was loved and will always be missed. 
God rest him; he was a good man.

I was saddened to hear today of Dr. Payne's passing.  His incredible work made a life-changing difference for me and I never got to tell him that.  We pondered whether or not we might be related and decided that we probably were, a few generations back.  My condolences to his family and friends.

Very sorry to hear of Mack's passing. I knew him as a good guy always and will miss him.

I just learned of Mack's passing and am deeply sad for his family and friends. Mack was my very first "boyfriend" -- in 5th grade! He wrote me the most beautiful love notes, which I still have to this day. On one of them, he wrote (and illustrated!) that I was "a beautiful rainbow." Out of the heart of an 11 year old -- such a lovely spirit. On one of our "dates" we rode our bicycles to the HP Pharmacy and had milkshakes. On another, Mack's generous parents drove us to a fancy restaurant, where we were treated to a gourmet meal at a table by ourselves! A night I will never forget, with a good man who has left us all too soon. I am so grateful to have known Mack. He had a very kind heart.

Mack was always a very nice guy.  He tended to always smile.  I will remember him as a friend/brother from my days at Westminster College and Phi Delta Theta .  I wish compassion to his family in this time of need.

I will remember Mack as a great guy to be around through my time spent with him at Westminster & Phi Delta Theta.  He always had a smile for you.

You are still in my thoughts and your family in my prayers

I just found out today about Dr. Payne,I am devastated to say the least. i had just seen him a few days before his death. He has been treating me for years with gum and dental issues.Most of all I hate it that I am just now finding out. He will truly be missed by us all.

My mom, who was a patient for many years, just heard of Dr Payne 's passing and she is very sad.   She wants you to know how much she loved him, laughed with him, and appreciated the care and concern he always provided!  Our thought and prayers to you all.

We just learned of Dr. Payne's untimely demise. We are shocked beyond belief. Dr. Payne was such a gentle and supremely skilled periodontist. He had taken care of both of us and our son over the last 10 years.

I just learned this heart wrenching news today.  I have loved Dr. Payne since my first visit with him, probably 1996.  My husband was Dr. Payne's patient also.  We are  devastated by this heart breaking news.  Our loving condolences to Dr. Payne's family.  I have not been able to contain my tears.  It will be extremely difficult to get through my cleaning today.  I loved Dr. Payne more than I can express.

I am so sorry to hear we have lost such a nice, kind soul.  Mack has worked w/me on my dental issues for more than 10 years and always found solutions. He will be remembered for his kindness and laughter and will be missed.  Time doesn't heal anything - it just gives us room to accept.  My thoughts and prayers are w/his family and staff.

I just learned today that my periodontist, Dr. Payne IV, passed on in October. The last time I saw him was in April. Such a warm and caring person to leave us so soon. My prayers for his family and his nice staff. Rest in peace, Dr. Payne.

I've been a patient of both Jonathan IV in Coppell and Jonathan III in Dallas for what must be a decade or two now.  I just learned of this untimely loss yesterday and I'm just stricken with grief for the loss of a good man and the loss of his wife, children, parents, staff, and friends.  I see I am not alone in my appreciation for his (and his dad's) special care and kindnesses.  

I pray that time along with loving support, fond memories, expressions of appreciation, and real and "virtual" hugs may help soften the deep loss.

Dr. Payne has been my dentist for the last 12 or so years. When I got into trouble with a tooth a few years ago he saw me and said," here's my personal cell phone number. You call me anytime you need to see me!" He gave me such reasurrance! I will miss him very much. Justine Schmitt (Dallas)

I just found out today that my long time doctor passed away recently. I am so sad to hear this news. May his family find the strength to get through this very difficult time.

Dr. Payne has been my dentist for several years.  I was shocked to hear that he had passed away - I saw him just last month at my regular appointment.  My heartfelt condolences go out to his family and to those who worked with him and knew him well. My husband and I will keep his family in our prayers.

Dr. Payne was a very respected and loved man in the dental profession.  His laugh was contagious.   My prayers are with his entire family.  May God ease your sorrow and may time heal your pain.

I only met Dr Payne once for a dental appointment but I immediately felt at ease with him. He was kind and patient and I looked forward to a long and happy dental relationship. Sadly that was not to be. My prayers and thoughts are with his family during this difficult time.

I met Mack when I was just starting my business and he was one of my first customers.  He was honest, friendly and was willing to take a chance on a new supplier.  We shook hands and that was all of the agreement that we ever needed.  I will never forget the encouragement that he provided with that simple handshake.  A truly warm and honest man.

Mack was one of the first in a group of guys from Dallas that I met my freshman year @ WWC.  He had so many friends, was an asset to Phi Delta Theta Fraternity, Missouri Beta, was kind, gentle and funny. I am saddened by our loss.
