Jonathan David Rich, age 42 of Garland, passed away on June 6, 2016 with his loving family at his side. He was born on December 16, 1973, the son of Roger Rich and Joanne Reece Rich. In 2004, Jon married the love of his life, Sarah Fox. Jon’s sense of humor and passion to make people laugh will be greatly missed. His family and friends will remember his kind heart and thoughtful character. In his spare time, Jon loved to fish and was a true techie tinkering with all of the latest gadgets.
Jon’s greatest joy was his family that he leaves behind: his wife Sarah and their children Wesley and Tristan; his brother Phillip Rich and wife Angie; his father Roger Rich and wife Carolyn; his mother Joanne Reece Rich; step siblings Laura Chaney and Steve Chaney. Jon was preceded in death by his sister, Angie.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 9, 2016 from 6-8PM at Grove Hill Funeral Home. A celebration of Jon’s life will be held at 10AM on Friday, June 10 at Saturn Road Church of Christ 3030 Garland Road, Garland 75041. Interment will follow at Grove Hill Memorial Park.
