Jose "Bee" Ruben Arellano

Bee worked for the City of Dallas in the water utilities department for 42 years. He enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, and Mavericks, barbequing, listening to his favorite music, dancing, and spending time with his family. He loved his cars and enjoyed washing, detailing, and working on them. He was a big dog lover. One of his most beloved pooches was Beecher.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Maria and Ruben; sister, Elvia, and niece, Elvia Denise.

He's survived by his wife, Jill whom he married August 3, 2007; his son Ruben (wife Mayra); daughter Vanessa (husband Ever); five grandchildren, Angel, Leticia, Ruben, Lucas, and Sebastian; brother, Johnny (wife Sylvia), Robert, and Jesse (wife Leslie); sisters, Maria (husband George), Ramona (husband Alfred), and Marie.

The Arellano Family invites you to join in celebrating Bee's life. A visitation will be held Sunday, June 1, 2025 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, TX 75220. A Funeral Mass will be held at 9:00 am on Monday, June 2, 2025 at the North Chapel of Calvary Hill Cemetery where he will be laid to rest, followed by a reception at the funeral home.
