Jose was raised in Dallas, Texas and attended from Sunset High School from 1999 - 2001.
In his spare time, Jose enjoyed working on his truck, relaxing with friends and family and live each day to the fullest. Jose's favorite thing to do was give his Mom a hard time because seeing her smile and laugh gave him joy.
His family and friends will always remember him as a fun-loving, kind-hearted, giving and supportive person.
He is preceded in death by grandparents, Guadalupe and Mary Carreon; uncle, Jesus Carreon; cousin, Normalinda Guerra; uncles, Susano Gutierrez and Sergio Esparza Sr. and his cousin by marriage, Cecilia Esparza.
He is survived by his son, Sean Carreon, Mother Laura Martinez, Sister Maria Franco her Husband Sgt. Micah Franco and Son Landon, Sister Elizabeth Lopez her Husband Oliver and their Daughter Aaliyah, Brother CPL Michael Dominguez his Wife Kitzy. Jose's extended family included his Aunts Mary Helen Carreon, Cynthia Rodriguez (Manuel), Teresa Esparza (Humberto), Vickie Sanchez (Modesto), Carmen (Louis), Adelaida (Merced). Thirty tree Cousins along with many of their children.
A visitation for Jose will be held Tuesday, March 28, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home and Crematory, 3050 N STEMMONS FWY, DALLAS, TX 75247, followed by a rosary from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
