Jose Rafael Garzon

He was married to Ignacia Vanegas on September 16, 1967.

Rafael Graduated from the National School of Commerce, Bogota, Colombia and attended New York University. He enjoyed a lengthy career in the accounting field and worked for a series of companies over the years such as: Kurt Orban Company Inc. in Wayne, New Jersey, Avon Products Inc. in New York, New York, Astra National LTDA in Bogota, Colombia, Ven Air Service Inc. in Miami, Florida and Underwriters Guarantee Insurance Company in Miami, Florida.

He enjoyed many things in his pass time. Rafael loved playing street hockey in his youth and later enjoyed playing tennis. He always enjoyed watching professional soccer and tennis matches. Rafael loved listening to classical music, opera and traditional Colombian music and spent a few years learning to play the guitar. He loved to sing and "play" piano until he no longer could.

Rafael is survived by his children, Dora Patricia Garzon-Hornick and Juan Carlos Garzon; his grandchildren, Samuel Sebastian Hornick and Andrew Joseph Hornick.

Funeral arrangements will be held at a later date in Miami, Florida.
