Josefa "Josie" De Leon born on June 6,1928 in Malakoff, Texas and passed into heaven on August 26, 2019. Our beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother is resting now with her Heavenly Father along with her husband and son.
Josie was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent A. De Leon, her son Vincent De Leon, Jr., and numerous siblings and family members.
She is survived by her sister Paula Paredes. Children, Helen Reyes, Delia Jasso (Juan), Bertha D. Galan, Irene Smith (Frank), and Ricky De Leon (Yvette). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Teri De Leon (Kam), Solomon Reyes (Mylene), Zachariah Reyes (Jerry), Eric Jasso (Noelle), Laura Jasso, Josh Hogan (Cinthia), Jessica Jenkins (Wes), Aja Lopez, and Rae Lopez. She will be missed by 13 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 5p.m. to 9p.m. on August 30, 2019 at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, followed by recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2p.m. on August 31, 2019 at the Calvary Hill North Chapel followed by internment at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
