Biography

Josefina Herrera Morado was born April 16, 1939 in Mexico and gained eternal life on January 7, 2019 in Dallas, Texas. Josefina retired from Marillac Social Center at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church where she spent her time teaching many children over the years. She was a loyal wife, devoted mother and loving grandmother. Josefina lived most of her years in service to others from the abundance of love she had for God and people. She is preceded in death by her soul mate, Jose Morado; her father, Ambrosio Herrera; mother, Josefina Alarcon; sisters, Alicia Herrera and Elva Villareal; and brother, Seferino Herrera. She is survived by her sisters, Maria H. Chavez and Romelia H. Hernandez; brother, Gaspar Herrera; sons, Jesse Morado, wife Maggie Morado and Luis Gerardo Morado; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.
