Mr. Baldridge was born in Ennis, Texas, June 20,1917 the son of James McAdoo and Genevieve Freeman Baldridge. His grandparents, Joseph Baldridge Sr and Phillip Freeman were prominent pioneer residents of Ennis.
Mr. Baldridge attended grade schools in Ennis and at Bradfield Elementary in Highland Park, and was graduated from Amarillo High School in 1935.
Subsequently he attended Terrell Junior College in Dallas and was graduated Cum Laude from the University of Texas at Austin in 1942. For thirty two years he was associated with the Reynolds-Penland clothing stores as Advertising Director. After retiring in 1979 he worked for twenty-three years with handicapped children as a volunteer teacher's aid at Dallas Services for Visually Impaired Children.
It is requested that memorials be sent to Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas.
A Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
