Joseph Cruz Ibanez

Our Cruzito, Joseph Cruz Ibañez, passed away October 18th, 2019 at the young age of 18. He was born January 21st, 2001 at Saint Paul Medical Center at 8:56AM. He received his high school diploma at Uplift Peak Preparatory in 2019. Joseph’s talents were many. He could balance on stilts more than half his size, he could make anyone laugh, and of course, no one could stand a chance against him on FortNite. He was definitely far from your average kid.

There is a saying, “The quietest people have the loudest minds” and this couldn’t define Joseph any better. He was always aware and in thought, but had the hardest time expressing these thoughts. His personality was brave, charming, and so simple. He was survived by his parents Miguel and Josie Ibañez, brothers Miguel-Angel and Christopher Ibañez, sister Desiree Ibañez, and our family dog Dirk. Joseph loved his Godparents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins dearly.

Viewing services will be held Thursday, October 24th, 2019 from 6PM - 8PM and Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Friday, October 25th, 2019 at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 6300 South R.L, Dallas, Texas 75232.

The Ibañez family would like to express our gratitude for the amazing support and care given by family and friends. Words cannot express the pain our hearts feel as words cannot express how grateful we are for the amount of prayers and comfort we have received. We hope that you can all join us this day to honor Joseph and say our last goodbyes.
