Born November 11, 1923 in Miami, Az. and died June 28, 2012 in Dallas at age 88. He was a WWII Navy veteran having served in the Pacific. He later retired after 30 plus years with Texas Instruments. Survived by wife of 66 years, Wanda Sims; children, Joseph P. Sims and Deborah Brown; grandchildren, Blake and Allyson Sims; brothers, Dale Sims, George Sims and Keith Sims.
