Josephine “Fina” Solis, age 78, passed away on May 9th, 2018 in Dallas, Texas. She was born on June 27th, 1939 in San Antonio Texas to Anita Zuniga and Raymundo Ochoa. Josie was born in San Antonio Texas and graduated from Lanier High School in 1957. She married Richard G. Solis in 1957, and the couple had 5 children. Josie was a housewife and a loving mother.In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren, as well as praying her Rosary every night. Josie’s family will always remember her as fun-loving, beautiful, a spitfire woman, and a Dallas Cowboy’s loving fan. She also loved her Dallas Mavericks! She is preceded in death by her husband Richard G. Solis, her sister Rose Marie Zuniga, and her brother Robert “Bobso/ Uncle Bro” Ochoa. Josie is survived by her sister Viola Ochoa, and her 2 brothers, Jesse F. “Chuy” Ochoa, and Raymond “Feva” Ochoa, Her 2 daughters: Sylvia Solis Siehl and her husband Donald Siehl and Liza Marie Solis. She is also survived by her 3 sons: Larry Solis, Richard Jacob Solis, and John Michael Solis and his wife Christy Martinez Solis, her 7 grandkids: Rachel Elizabeth Solis, Philip Anthony Solis, Natalie Ryan Ortiz and her husband Anthony Ortiz, Christina Marie Solis, Cody William Siehl, Nikolas Ryan Siehl, and Isabella Raye Solis, as well as her 5 great grand-kids: Izaac Richard Salgado, Rosalina Elizabeth Mae Solis, Abraham Salgado Jr., Lauren Marie Siehl, and Evren Jacob Salgado. Josie is also survived by her Sister in law, Connie Reta, several nieces and nephews, and family and friends.

Wish such sadness on the lost of my Aunt Josie as she now has joined my Mom Rose after five years, two sisters who shared a special loving relationship where one was the other would be Josie has now joined the rest of the angels who have gone before us and as Kim griefs for the lost of Mom and now as she griefs for Josie as she holds a special place in her heart as she knew how Mom and Josie had an unconditional love and support for each other and To all my cousins Sylvia,Liza,Larry,Rick and John and the rest of the extended family you all will be in my thoughs and prayers May God give you all the strength, faith thru this difficult time
