She was married to Alfredo Martinez and devoted her life to her family and friends. Juana enjoyed drinking coffee, smoking her cigarettes, talking on the phone, and spending time with those she loved. She also enjoyed her years working at Los Dos Reales, where she made many lasting friendships.
Juana was preceded in death by her parents, † Manuel Meza and † Luisa Bustamente; spouse † Alfredo Martinez: † Felipa Bustamente; † Josefia Bustamente; † Gracelia Martinez; † Norma Chavez; † Ernest Chavez; and † Cynthia Chavez.
She is lovingly survived by her children, Maria Luisa Martinez, Alfredo Martinez Jr., Gerado Martinez, Armandina Martinez, and Juan Martin Martinez; her cherished grandchildren, Nancy Berumen, Jaime Marie Trevino, Jose Jesus Trevino, Crystal Ann Trevino, Eloy Michael Trevino, Maria Victoria Torres, Jose Carreto, Juan Carreto, Julie Martinez, Leeroy Martinez, Savanna Renee Soto, Sylvia Johnson, Gerado Martinez Jr., Javier Matehuala Jr., Francisco Matehuala, Andrea Matehuala, Andreina Matehuala, Maria Luisa Roque, and Juan Martin Martinez Jr.; along with many other beloved family members and friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Calvary Hill Funeral Home. A Liturgy of the Word will be celebrated on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Hill Funeral Home with Fr. Ruben Ortiz officiating. Committal services will immediately follow at 12:00 p.m. at Calvary Hill Cemetery. All services will be held at 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, Texas 75220.
