Juana Nava Mendoza

Juana was raised in Mexico. She married Leopoldo Mendoza in 1971 and the couple had three children. She was a factory worker at Thermalloy Company where she worked for more than 27 years.

In her spare time Juana enjoyed thrift shopping, bossing her kids around. She enjoyed her telenovelas and she knew all the actors' and actresses' life on and off screen. Her favorite show was "Caso Cerrado!"

Her family and friends will always remember her as organized, feisty, and well informed. Everything (large or small) she did had a purpose.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Rafael and Esther Nava; brother, Victorino Nava; sister, Magdalena Pimentel.

She is survived by her husband, Leopoldo (Polo) Mendoza; son, Juan Ramon Mendoza; daughters, Esperanza Mendoza Hernandez and spouse, Micheal Hernandez, Laura Mendoza Rodriguez and spouse Gil Rodriguez; grandchildren, Stephanie; Jacqueline (Jaky), Jacob, Arllette, Krystal, Cristian, Ariel, Nathan, Kevin, Rina; great-grandchildren, Emilia, Kinsley, Madelynn; sister, Gregoria Reyna; along with her brother, Rafael Nava.

She was devoted to her faith, and loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren very much.

A visitation for Juana will be held Thursday, November 21, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home, 3050 N STEMMONS FWY, DALLAS, TX 75247.

Juana Nava Mendoza, edad 78 años, falleció el Martes 19 de Noviembre del 2024 en Dallas, Tx. Nació el 23 de Junio de 1946 en Apatzingán,, Michoacan, Mx. sus Padres Rafael y Esther Nava.

Juana creció en México, Se casó con Leopoldo Mendoza en 1971 y tuvieron 3 Hijos. Era trabajadora de una fábrica en Thermalloy Company, donde trabajó durante más de 27 años.

En su tiempo libre, Juana disfrutaba comprando cosas de segunda mano y dando órdenes a sus hijos. Disfrutaba de sus telenovelas y conocía la vida de todos los actores y actrices dentro y fuera de la pantalla. Programa favorito "Caso Cerrado!"

Su familia y amigos siempre la recordarán como una persona organizada, luchadora y bien informada. Todo lo que hacía (grande o pequeño) tenía un propósito.

Le precedieron en la muerte: Sus Padres Rafael y Esther Nava, Hermano Victorino Nava, Hermana Magdalena Pimentel.

Le Sobreviven: Esposo Leopoldo (Polo) Mendoza; Hijo Juan Ramon Mendoza; Hijas Esperanza Mendoza Hernandez-Esposo Micheal Hernandez y Laura Mendoza Rodríguez-Esposo Gil Rodríguez; Nietos: Stephanie; Jacqueline (Jaky); Jacob; Arllette; Krystal; Cristian; Ariel, Nathan; Kevin; Rina; Bis-Nietos: Emilia, Kinsley, Madelynn. Hermana Gregoria Reyna; Hermano Rafael Nava.

Dedicada a su fe. Amaba mucho a sus nietos y bis-nietos.

Velorio para Juana se llevará a cabo el Jueves 21 de Noviembre del 2024 de 4:00 PM a 8:00 PM en Gonzalez Funeral Home, 3050 N STEMMONS FWY, DALLAS, TX 75247.
