Juanita Reed Harper Born June 8, 1920 in the Ferris area, passed away September 19, 2014. She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Ralph Harper and, her second husband of 12 years Vernon Harper. She is survived by her daughters Judy Oakley and husband Joe, Joanne Shafer and husband Bailey. Grandchildren Patty and Benny Oakley, Brian Shafer, Lisa Ferry and Jessica Prewitt. Great-grandchildren Shandy , Austin, Kailey and Brian Shafer, Brianna Chastain and Race Ferry, Jacob, Jonas, and Judson Prewitt and several nieces and nephews. Juanita worked for 25 plus years at The Bank of America. She loved working and had a great work ethic that she passed to her family. During her lifetime she was generous with her finances to her children and grandchildren. Juanita was very opinionated and out-spoken with family members, but still loved all.
