

Juanita Rose Herzan-White, 85, passed away December 12, 2011 in Dallas, Texas. She was born October 8, 1926 in Prescott, Arkansas to Eula Lee Hart and Howard Smith Hart. Juanita came to Dallas at the age of 18 and became a life long resident. She married Wesley ‘Gus’ Herzan in 1947, and raised their four children, Herbert ‘Sonny’ Lee, Wesley Ann, Pamela Gail and Daniel Joseph. Juanita was a member of the Bluffview Baptist Church. After the death of her husband, Wesley, she pursued a career as a Social Worker at Parkland Hospital for several years. Later, her career path took a turn and she became the Executive Secretary and Accountant at a well known plumbing company in University Park. Juanita married Don O. White in Oak Cliff in November 1970; they celebrated their 41st wedding anniversary in November 2011. Juanita was an excellent cook and seamstress who also enjoyed crochet and other hobbies. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Wesley ‘Gus’ Herzan, son Herbert ‘Sonny’ Lee Herzan, brother, Howard Hart and sisters Ruby and Joyce. She is survived by husband Don O. White, daughters Wesley Ann Bond and Pamela Gail Herzan-Ingersoll, son Daniel Joseph Herzan, grandchildren Carla, Brandi, Danielle, Nicki, Renee and husband Steve, Kelli, Brian, Tyler, Austin, great granddaughter Alyssa, son-in-law Harry Bond and daughter-in-law Michelle Herzan. Visitation will be Friday, December 16, in the chapel at Calvary Hill Funeral Home beginning at 11:00am, followed by funeral service at 1:00 pm. Graveside services and interment will follow in Calvary Hill Cemetery.
