CHANDLER, Judith E. passed away on August 23, 2021. She was born January 31, 1934, in Teague, Texas, to Rhea and Hattie Clark. The family moved to Dallas, Texas, sometime in the 1940’s to further her father’s insurance business. She attended Woodrow Wilson High School, where she graduated in 1951.
She briefly attended the University of Texas but returned to Dallas where she met her first husband, Dr. Jack Hickman, with whom she had two sons, John and Jim. Besides being a wonderful mother, she was active in many volunteer groups and loved her pets, particularly her dogs Grady and Lacy.
She is survived by her son, John H. Hickman and wife Kathy. Preceded in death were Lewis Chandler, her second husband, and her son James H. Hickman. The family will receive visitors Sunday, September 5th, from 9-10 am at Sparkman-Hillcrest with graveside service to follow at 10:00 am.
