Judy grew up in a large family with the nickname of Judy Pie.
She graduated from her beloved South Sioux City High School where she still kept in contact with her classmates of over 62 years. She married Tom Kelly and moved to St. Louis, Mo.
where she raised her 3 children of whom she was extremely proud of. Judy was the proud owner of a furniture store and after that Judy’s Florist. Later in life she reconnected with a childhood friend, Gene Keslar. She and Gene married and enjoyed many happy years together. He was the love of her life. Feeling the need to get out of the cold she and Gene moved to Dallas, Tx. surrounded by many family members and friends.
She loved music, singing, cooking, crafts, travel, water sports, The Dallas Cowboys and Mavs, and most importantly her Catholic Faith. She was truly devoted to her church, Mary Immaculate and especially her Rosary Group that met every Tuesday to pray for everyone.
She wanted everyone to experience the love of the Blessed Mother through her devotion to the Divine Mercy Chaplet, her favorite prayer.
She is preceded in death by her parents and grandson Louis Kramer.
She is survived by her children Kristina ( Matt Kramer), Matthew ( Lori )Kelly and Mark ( Tracy), her 7 grandchildren Joey(KD) Kramer, Michael ( Katy) Kelly, Blake (McKenzie) Kelly, Kevin
(Lesley) Kramer, Luke Kelly, Mallory Kelly, and Bianca Kelly and 5 great grandchildren.
Her 3 sisters, Sharon Bergstrom, Diane Fults, Patty Yudka, and brother Chuck Helt, along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Please join in Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, Dec. 18th, 10:30 am at Mary Immaculate Church in Farmers Branch. Private burial will follow at National Cemetery.
