Judy was born Oct. 29th, 1941 in Derby, VA, a small coal mining town. She became a military wife and traveled all over the USA and Puerto Rico. She very much loved to do crafts, cook and bake amazing treats. She took enjoyment watching her soap opera, Judge Judy and fussing at the nonsense on the News. She was also a very big Texas Rangers fan watching every single game each season. Judy also had so much compassion for animals. She gave to many charities that supported help for animals. She had many pets that she treasured the memories for, but her most loved pet, was her Yorkie, Sam. Her biggest love were for her children and grandchildren. She would always make sure that everyone was taken care of before she would do anything for herself and always wanted what was best for them.
Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Carroll Jeffcoat, her son Roger Alan Mullins (and his partner, Margrit), her grandsons, Joshua Jeffcoat, Travis Jeffcoat and Robert Wilkerson and her great grandchildren, Londyn, Bentley, Brenda and Jaxson. Her sisters, Victoria Gillenwater and Beatrice Messeck and brother, Charles Meade. Proceeded in death by many family members but more noted was the loss of her first born son John Mullins Jr.
Funeral services will be a Graveside Ceremony held at Grove Hill Memorial Park in Dallas on Saturday, Dec. 9th, 2017 at 11am .
In lieu of flowers, you may make donations to the SPCA in Judy’s name
