Julian Santiago, 81, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born in Jalisco, Mexico, Julian lived a life defined by faith, family, kindness, devotion to others, and a strong work ethic. For 54 years, he shared a loving marriage with his beloved wife, Reyna Santiago. Together, they built a family grounded in love, respect, and support.
Julian is survived by his loving wife, Reyna; his children, Sonia Santiago, Norma Gonzalez and husband Armando Gonzalez, and Pedro Santiago and wife Amanda Santiago; and his cherished grandchildren, Michael Gonzalez, Emily Gonzalez, Miranda Belton and husband Terence Belton, Marissa Gomez, and Simon Gomez Jr. and 4 great grandchildren.
A devoted fan of Chivas de Guadalajara, Julian loved soccer and rarely missed an opportunity to cheer for his favorite team. He was also an avid hunter who enjoyed the outdoors and treasured time spent with family and friends.
While Julian was blessed with three children, many others came to know him as a father figure. He was a source of strength, guidance, and encouragement, and was always someone family and friends could depend on, no matter the circumstance.
More than anything, Julian loved his family. He took great pride in bringing people together and often reminded his children, nieces, and nephews of the importance of staying close, supporting one another, and cherishing every moment together. He believed family was life's greatest blessing, and his greatest wish was for those he loved to remain united.
Julian will be remembered for his generous heart, quiet strength, steadfast loyalty, and enduring love for his family. His legacy lives on in the values he instilled, the lives he touched, and the countless memories he leaves behind.
He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in our hearts.
