Julie Salazar Hernandez

Julie Salazar Hernandez, age 54, passed away on March 10, 2025 in Dallas, Texas. She was born on March 10, 1971 in Dallas, Texas to Josephine Herrera and Paul Salazar and was raised in Dallas, Texas Julie graduated from Bill J. Priest Community College in 1991.

She married Faustino Perez on November 26, 1988 and the couple had three children. She was a dispatcher at Greyhound where she worked for more than five years. In her spare time, Julie enjoyed watching her television shows such as Golden Girls, Roseanne, Little House on the Prairie and YouTube. She loved to hear her audiobooks every night and read her bible. She also enjoyed watching her grandchildren, doing arts and crafts along with her sleep.

Her family and friends will always remember her as a joyful, caring and loving person. She was the type of person who will just sit there and listen to you talk about anything. She was also the type of person who you could go and ask for advice without any judgement.

She is survived by her older brother, Paul David Salazar, Paul Jr. and Ricky Salaza; older sister, Maria Cecilia Salazar Ruiz; sister-in-law, Lucia Salazar; brother-in-law, Javier Ruiz, Julie Salazar Hernandez; children, Josephine Perez, Christina Perez, Faustino Anthony Perez; grandchildren, Isabella Nicole Diaz, Aaron Jose Guillen, William Jesus Guillen, Catalina Aracely Lopez, Pablo David Lopez, son-in-law, Irving Diaz; nephews, Manuel Cuevas, Jorge Anthony Encarnancion, Jose Antonio Ruiz, Rene Santiago Salazar, Paul Alexander Salazar, Matthew David Salazar; nieces, Vanessa Cecilia Salazar, Sarah Ruiz, Eliza Marie Cano along with her cats, Natsu and Kanna.
