

Mr. Julius F. Sternes, transitioned on March 3rd, 2022 after an eight-month battle with brain cancer at the age of 68, surrounded by loved ones. Born to Frank and Raythetta Sternes in Dallas, TX. Julius graduated from LG Pinkston High School in 1971, He attended Southern Methodist University and received a degree in Real Estate. He is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity.
Julius Sternes is considered by many in the real estate industry as the GOAT, as a real estate broker in southern Dallas County. When Julius joined CENTURY 21 Galloway-Herron in March of 1979, no one could have imagined the dynamic impact his career would have over the next four-plus decades. Julius was a multi-million-dollar producer who averaged nearly 60 transactions a year during his peak stretch of production. This earned him the coveted CENTURY 21 CENTURION award presented to the exceptional agents that closed 60 or more transactions in a year. He earned this award on 30 occasions and at least two occasions, he was a double CENTURION meaning he closed over 120 transactions in one year.
Julius helped thousands of families become homeowners and served as a role model to hundreds of real estate agents that looked to him as the blueprint for real estate success. While the average real estate agent closes four to ten transactions annually, Julius closed that many deals monthly. He won the highly coveted Galloway Cup which was awarded to the most productive agent in the office. He won the award 33 out of the 35 years it was awarded. In 2015 Galloway-Herron became part of Keller Williams and Julius Sternes, remained a high producing agent with KW until his passing. He was an outstanding talent whose leadership and influence have left a lasting legacy on the entire real estate community.
Julius led a life of service marked by servant leadership. He was a Team Captain of the OCBF Usher Ministry for over 20 years. At Converge Church he was a faithful member serving as a Team Lead over the Usher Greeter Ministry. At L.G. Pinkston High School he served as the President of the Student Council, Parliamentarian of the Senior Class, R.O.T.C. member, Alpha Merit, and subsequently served on the Class Reunion Committee until the present day.
Julius was preceded in death by his father Frank Sternes and brother Kenneth Sternes. He is survived by his mother Raythetta Sternes, fianceé Dominique Adevereaux (daughters BreAndrea & Christiana), brothers Patrick & Wayne Sternes (wife Gracie), three sons Mikel Faheem (Shaneka), Nicholas Sternes, and Marcus Sternes (fiancée Ashley), grandchildren Maleik Faheem, Mike Faheem (wife Shukura Davis), Lux Sternes, great-grandchildren Harvest Davis and Micah Rose Davis, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and co-workers.
