Justine Jolene Atkins, age 84, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2020 in Mesquite, Texas. J. Jolene was born September 2, 1935 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Mr. Freeman Russell and Mrs. Justine Gandy. She graduated from Crozier Tech in 1954 and her family and friends will always remember her as a gardener, loved reading the bible, going to church and traveling on long distance trips to Washington D.C, Illinois, Maryland and California. J. Jolene is preceded in death by her husband, Walter J. Atkins and her parents. She is survived by son, W. David Atkins; daughter, Jeannie Beach and granddaughter, Jamie Beach.
