Kandi was born in Dallas, Texas on July 13, 1980 and graduated from Bryan Adams High School in 1999.
She worked in the service industry for American Airlines and Whataburger.
Her two dogs, Ottis and Smidge, were her babies.
Kandi's coworkers were always her chosen family, she loved them and her own family more than anything.
She worked so hard and was very proud of her personal accomplishments, she'd finally gotten her very own place to live on her own and loved her independence.
Kandi is survived by her two sisters, Bonny Lane Bain (Tyson) and Ashley Houchin; niece, Melanie Velazquez; nephew, Tristan Ambriz; uncle, Danny Wesson (Carmen), Matthew Daniel and Rachel; aunt, Julie Purtill (Tom); cousin, Lauren Summers (Toby), Kaylee and Jacob; cousin, Alison Simone (Joey) and their daughter, Anniston Grey Simone.
