Hafertepe, Kellee Lynn 56, of Dallas, Texas, passed away at her home on Tuesday, June 17, 2014. Kellee was born November 25, 1957 in Shreveport, Louisiana to parents Claude and Shirley Ray. She married her best friend, George Hafertepe, on April 12th, 1986. She had dedicated her professional life to Ridgewood Park Pre-School and was beloved by her colleagues, students, and family. Kellee is preceded in death by her mother Shirley Ray and infant daughter Katie Lynn Hafertepe. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, George Hafertepe, of Dallas, Texas and her children, Lauren Hafertepe and Allison Hafertepe along with her parents Claude and Ernestine Ray of Mount Pleasant, Texas, Brother Mickey Ray and wife Maura, Steve Ray and wife Colleen, Russ Ray and numerous nieces and nephews. Kellee was an animal lover her whole life and will be greatly missed by her 3 loving pets Duncan, Twinkie and Nilla.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 20, 2014 at 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the North Chapel at Calvary Hill Cemetery with a Rosary recited at 6:30pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 2:30 pm at the Calvary Hill Mausoleum North Chapel. Interment will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
