Mr. Kevin Wayne Hamilton, age 64, of Dallas, Texas passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2022.
Kevin Wayne Hamilton was born in Dallas, Texas on May 19, 1957, the ninth of ten children. He was a member of Greater Triedstone Baptist Church.
On Thursday evening, April 28, 2022 at the age of 64, Kevin transitioned to his eternal reward. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Kevin’s memories will be cherished forever. He is preceded in death by his parents (Father) Samuel Young Jr., (Mother) Hazel Hampton, (Step Father) Dave Hampton, (Brothers) Bishop Roy Lee Edmond, Ennis Hampton, (Sisters) Rosie Gray and Bertha Dawn.
He leaves to cherish his memories: wife 43 years, Doris; his children, Bra’Drecit and Takeisha; grandchildren, Sha’Corey, Jermar, Daniel and Ari; and 1 great grandchild Keeon. Siblings: Jo Ann Johnson, Kennis Hampton, Dorothy Shepherd, Paul Hamilton, Lawanna Humphery, and a host of nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
A visitation for Kevin will be held Friday, May 13, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Singing Hills Funeral Home, 6221 UNIVERSITY HILLS BLVD, DALLAS, TX 75241. A funeral service will occur Saturday, May 14, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Nazareth Missionary Baptist Church, 8205 Bruton Road, Dallas, TX 75217. A committal service will occur Saturday, May 14, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Laurel Land Mem Park - Dallas, 6300 S. R.L. Thornton Frwy., Dallas, TX 75232.
