King, my condolences 🙏 brother. We never got to stay in touch as much as we wanted to. Thanks for your words of wisdom, when it was needed, and at times your obedience to God. Thanks, my brother. Kenny

God bless you King David!
I met King when I was 13. We married at 21. We had 2 beautiful boys. King 2 and Angelo. King had a crazy way of showing his love. He tattooed my name across his belly at 15. Then tattooed my face on his arm at 21. He was such an amazing person. We divorced after 10 years of marriage due to different goals, values and perception of faith. We both loved Christ so much. But life took a toll on both of us. We remained friends until his death. I wish I could have saved him or helped him. I feel so broken inside. I want to go look for him. I can’t believe any of it. He was Superman in my eyes.
You are forever loved King David!! I’m going to work extra hard to love all of your children especially little Luke.

I did not know King well, only meeting him a couple times, but he had been living in our community for the last year with his beautiful daughter and adorable little dog. Even if you did not know King personally, everyone here knew the guy with a small fleet of nice cars. King would always drive his daughter to school in one of them, even though they lived a short walk from the elementary school, and we often saw him slowly cruising through the community or out handwashing them, always waving at anyone looking his way.

My deepest condolences go out to his daughter, son, and all of his family and friends. I am very sorry for your loss. I know King was a proud Christian, and may his spirit watch over you all.

Sorry to hear this about King, I used to play with him when we were kids over in Oak Cliff. He used to make me laugh and I liked making him laugh. He used to sing at Church with his older brother and i would make fun of them dressed like milk men in white, they used to chase me to hit me, made me laugh all the time. Rip childhood friend.
