I remember when Lana  found me a rental  of a cute back house on “Lakewood Blvd” I interviewed and got it! She was  saying “now you’re on the BLOUVARD! We had so many memories “ she was such a joy!  She brought me into the “prayer group” .   It was such a treasure to me I had just experienced a really bad time in my life…BUT GOD!  I love you Lana and I know you’re dancing in heaven! Seeing your parents and Debra! 💕🙏🙌

Lana, Vicki, Cynthia and I made a Christmas shopping trip to San Marcos. Lana had so many funny stories! We laughed all the way down and back ! She will be missed but I know she’s happy to be with the Lord❤️

Lana was a precious lady and I loved her very much!  We not only rode horses together, but also shared long conversations about our love for family and God.   What I remember most about Lana was her smile and  how she always made me feel special as a friend.  Whenever I saw her coming in her horse trailer, I felt my heart light up.  She and her horse, Godiva, both had cinnamon-colored hair and I used to joke that they looked alike.  That sweet mare would carry Lana down the trail over and over as if they had a special friendship that no one else understood.  The joy that we all felt knowing Lana will last until God calls us home and we see her again.  Lawrence, blessings to you and your family in this difficult time.  You were so kind to support Lana's passion for riding and all  things nature.  You were a gift from God as her husband.  Peg Patton

I met Lana & became friends with her when our kids were attending Cooper Elementary in Garland.   I liked her from the very start of our friendship.   She was always so sweet and fun to be with.  We both shared several mutual friends and a love of BSF.     We also both loved a song, 80’s Ladies, and I can never hear it without thinking of her and smiling.   

I know I will get to see her again though……..

Lana has been a dear friend since our kids were in  elementary school.  Her faith, love of family & friends and her precious husband Lawrence define Lana.  She planted seeds of faith to friends & strangers.  Lana was a faithful member of our eleven member “prayer group”.  We met regularly, studied the Bible, shared family concerns and prayed for our husbands, children & friends.  We love each other dearly and will always cherish the 40 years of our friendships.  My husband, Mike, & I send our love & prayers to all the family.  Rejoice,  Lana is with Jesus!

My “little” brother and Cory were best friends growing up.  Our parents were friends and I met Lana thru shuffling of the boys to different events or spending the night with each other.  Fast forward several years and I was in Bible Study Fellowship with her in Garland.  I always remember her smiling or laughing.  She was so sweet and such a caring person who was beautiful inside and out.  My deepest sympathies and prayers are with Lawrence and the kids and grands.

Lana lived across the street from me from the time we were six years old until she started the 8th grade.  We were best friends.  I was fortunate to walk the journey of her illness alongside Lawrence and supported both of them through love and prayers.  I will miss Lana so much, will never forget that precious lady, and will be here for you, Lawrence, forever and always.  See you in heaven, Lana!!
