Uncle Larry , as he became known to me in my adulthood , was truly one of a kind . I will always remember his smile and the twinkle in his eyes. What a beautiful family he and Joy created . We miss you .

I worked for Mr. Burk from 1984-1994 at Credit Finance Corp. He was a major influence in my life while I worked there and even after I left. He had a huge heart! He loved his family, adored his children and grandchildren and was so in love with Joy!!! Although I would have never been able to repay him for  all that he did for me I would send him cards expressing my gratitude and he would always make such a big deal out of receiving them. Lol. I have always felt so blessed to have known him.

ALWAYS REMEMBER LARRY WITH A SMILE ON HIS FACE
AND CARING SO MUCH ABOUT THE HAPPINESS OF OTHERS.
HE WAS SUCH A GOOD MAN--HUSBAND--FATHER--GRANDFATHER AND FRIEND TO SO MANY.
HIS NEW YEARS PARTY WAS THE HIGHLIGHT OF EACH YEAR AND HE LOVED HAVING EVERYONE TOGETHER TO CELEBRATE GOOD MUSIC.

First crossed path with Larry in 1996. He always picked up the tab.

Larry has been a mentor and a trusted advisor. He was a good man and a legend. He will be missed...

He was the most amazing and caring person in the world .
Larry and his friends will have lunch every Monday at Benedict’s restaurant in Addison .

I served them every single time .
We celebrated his birthday, Hanukkah and more . We laughed, cried and shared our hearts.

He was always earlier then the rest just to make sure the French fries were at table before anyone arrived  plus we had time to catch up with our life’s events .

I will miss him so much .

Larry was a close friend.  He was my first client in 1965.  He helped me recover from alcoholism and always had my back.
I loved him like a brother and always tried to repay his kindness to me.  He is in Heaven because God needed a friend.
