After completing his education, Lonnie joined the family business, Pollock Paper Distributors. He held many roles before becoming President & CEO in 1991, where he proved himself a visionary leader who oversaw tremendous growth, employed thousands and remained in that role through the company’s 100 Year Anniversary in 2018.
Lonnie loved spending time outdoors, hunting and fishing at his ranch—a special place he cherished sharing with his grandkids. He attended nearly every Mavericks home game, spent many memorable summers in La Jolla, CA, and treasured time with his closest friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Shirley Pollock. He is survived by his children, Kimberly Wolff, her husband Todd and their children John Lawrence and Vivienne; Tracy Pollock and her son Elijah; and Lawrence S. Pollock IV, his wife Kaitlyn and their children Lawrence Samuel, Bennett, and Hank.
