She was born and raised in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex and traveled the world as a flight attendant for Braniff Airlines. She met her closest friends in her career.
Lee enjoyed fishing, reading, crafting, singing in the church choir, and cooking.
Lee’s life was defined by a desire to help others. Friends, family, and even strangers were touched by her generosity and her ability to make people feel seen and valued. Lee spent time mentoring elementary students one-on-one, touching their lives in a positive way.
Behind this deep compassion, however, Lee faced struggles as a result of a difficult childhood. It was a battle fought quietly and courageously, one that shaped her life in ways many may never have fully understood. Despite these challenges, Lee continued to show up for others with love and support.
She will be remembered for her warm heart, selflessness, and the light she brought into the lives of so many.
Lee is survived by her husband Reed of 49 years, and her daughters Stephanie St. Clair (Matt) & Kristi Blankman (Wes), and grandchildren, Lacey & Savanna St Clair, Ava, Reed, Luke, & Ella Blankman.
Lee is preceded in death by her beloved brother Ronnie Estes, who meant the world to her.
In honoring Lee, we encourage you to show acts of kindness to others in the world.
