Leonard Ray Johnson

Leonard Ray “Squirt” Johnson was born on April 10,1975, in Dallas,TX. to the parentage of Henry “Ricky” Barajas III and Brenda Jean Johnson. On November 19,2022, Leonard went home to be with the Lord.

Leonard attended school in D.I.S.D. Leonard was a loving, caring, selfless man with a heart of gold. He never met a stranger and helped anyone and everyone he could. He was a very dedicated, hard working man that held many jobs and titles . The longest being with The United States Postal Service as a Letter Carrier. He was still an active employee with USPS upon his untimely passing.

Leonard had a passion for family, sports, music, a good game of spades and/or dominos and movies.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Elijah and Ruth Johnson, uncle Billy R. Johnson,father Henry Barajas III, and grandson River Ray Simmons. Leonard leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Tonia Yvette Johnson;his children, Kelcie G. Johnson,Mya A.J.A Davis, DerTavious T. Davis (Takela)and bonus daughter Kaleigh Y. Johnson ; one Granddaughter, Stormi Rae “SuggaMomma” Simmons and one bonus grandson, Karter M. Brawley; brothers, Larry D. Johnson-twin (Jamila), Christopher J. Johnson (Venita),Jeremy D. Johnson,and Jemal R. Johnson (Earica);sisters, Wenona E. Jones, Brandy Woodberry and June Kester. He also leaves to cherish his memory a his paternal grandmother Adela Rodriguez and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews,cousins, in-laws, friends and family that will miss him immensely.
