Mrs. Leonor Corral de Fragoso

Mrs. Leonor Corral de Fragoso, beloved, gentle, hard-working, and selfless, passed away on April 5, 2026, at the age of 95. Born on July 2, 1930, in Mexico, Leonor was a brave, resilient, and cherished woman whose life was marked by compassionate devotion and faithful love. She resided in Dallas, Texas. After her introduction, Leonor will be remembered simply as Leonor by those who knew and loved her.

Leonor was born and raised in El Presidio, Tepehuanes, Durango, daughter of Felipe Corral and Esther Cazares. A devoted wife and mother, life brought many trials, yet she did not bend before challenges. With steadfast courage, Leonor recovered time and again from multiple surgeries, and she found her greatest joy in being surrounded by family.

Leonor married Tomas Fragoso, and from their union they had three children: Ing. Arturo Fragoso Corral, Dr. Jaime Fragoso Corral, and CP Sonia Fragoso Corral. Leonor is survived by her three children and 9 grandchildren, as well as 7 great-grandchildren, one brother, and two sisters.

Leonor enjoyed companionship and outings, and she prayed constantly. A very devoted Christian, Leonor lived with a faithful spirit that guided daily life and offered comfort to those around her.

Leonor leaves to all who had the fortune to know her a great legacy of love. Through example, Leonor taught and offered enduring proof of strength in moving forward; above all, Leonor loved family with unwavering devotion.

The family expresses sincere gratitude for the wonderful medical team who cared for Leonor until the very last moment, with special thanks to Dr. Jamshed and team, and to Hospice Plus—especially nurse Julia Acosta—as well as to caregivers.

La Sra. Leonor Corral de Fragoso, amada, gentil, trabajadora y abnegada, falleció el 5 de abril de 2026 a la edad de 95 años. Nacida el 2 de julio de 1930 en México, Leonor fue una mujer valiente, resiliente y muy querida, cuya vida estuvo marcada por una devoción compasiva y un amor fiel. Residía en Dallas, Texas. Después de su presentación, Leonor será recordada simplemente como Leonor por quienes la conocieron y la amaron.

Leonor nació y creció en El Presidio, Tepehuanes, Durango, hija de Felipe Corral y Esther Cazares. Esposa y madre dedicada, la vida le trajo muchas pruebas; sin embargo, no se doblegó ante los desafíos. Con valentía inquebrantable, Leonor se recuperó una y otra vez de múltiples cirugías, y su mayor alegría la encontraba al estar rodeada de su familia.

Leonor contrajo matrimonio con Tomas Fragoso, y de su unión tuvieron tres hijos: Ing. Arturo Fragoso Corral, Dr. Jaime Fragoso Corral y CP Sonia Fragoso Corral. A Leonor le sobreviven sus tres hijos y 9 nietos, así como 7 bisnietos, un hermano y dos hermanas.

Leonor disfrutaba de la compañía y de salir, y oraba constantemente. Una mujer Cristiana devota, Leonor vivió con un espíritu fiel que guiaba su vida diaria y brindaba consuelo a quienes la rodeaban.

Leonor deja a todos los que tuvieron la fortuna de conocerla un gran legado de amor. Con su ejemplo, Leonor enseñó y ofreció prueba perdurable de fortaleza para seguir adelante; por encima de todo, Leonor amó a su familia con devoción inquebrantable.

La familia expresa su sincero agradecimiento al maravilloso equipo médico que cuidó de Leonor hasta el último momento, con especial gratitud al Dr. Jamshed y su equipo, y a Hospice Plus—en especial a la enfermera Julia Acosta—, así como a los cuidadores.
