She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sibling and friend whose life was defined by family, hospitality, a strong work ethic and perseverance.
Lillian graduated from the American University in Cairo with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, moved to the United States at the age of 25 and attended the University of Texas at Austin as part of a Master’s program in French literature.
She is survived by her loving children, Loreen Gilbert and Charles Gilbert, her granddaughter Annabel Gilbert, her sister Maryse Zeitouni, her brother Maurice Mizrahi, and her son’s stepsons Keith Trigaci and Brennan Wilson.
A funeral service will be held at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home, 7405 West Northwest Highway, Dallas, TX 75225, US, on August 27, 2026, at 9:00 am. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Please join the family following the burial for a reception at Sparkman Hillcrest Funeral Home.
