To Doug and family, I know you are hurting and miss your Mother, but remember this, she is seated at the right hand of the Father. You will be with her again. Remember all the good times and know that she loved you more than anyone on this earth. God bless you.

Doug, Judy and the rest of the family, I am praying for all of you. I did not know until after the funeral. I have so many fond memories all my life that included Jan and her family. She will be missed. The Douglass Family has always been the picture of grace and dignity.  I can not imagine life without Jan. I am still in shock. She was a wonderful friend, mother, sister, daughter and Christian. Go with the angels Jan. Rest in peace sweet friend. We will miss you.

Praying for you. I wish I could say it gets easier with time,but 
knowing she's in a better place now with no suffering and that one day we will see our loved ones again sure does help. Praying for your sweet family.

Dear Douglas, Julie, Rhonda, Susan, Han & Families,

What a shock to hear of Linda's passing. She was such an amazing woman. I loved many things about her, but perhaps mostly her honesty, her sense of humor, and her calm demeanor. I also loved how I might not see her for a few years, and then suddenly there she was, and it was like we had just spoken yesterday. Not many people have that gift. 

We know your hearts are broken, and only time will help to heal some of that pain. We wish you peace, love, comfort and healing light. The same things that Linda so easily gave us all. We will miss her deeply, and will never forget her.

Dear Doug and Julie -- Our condolences over your mom's passing. I will miss her's and my exchange of funny and/or meaningful emails of the day. We had finally started communicating more recently, and I will miss hearing from her. As I mourn her death, I know you will miss her most. Your mom was a terrific woman, a lady in every sense of the word -- a true Southern Bell -- and I feel blessed to have had precious moments with her at family reunions and other visits. God bless you and Rhonda and Susan. May your grieving be swift, and may you soon be embracing her essence in everything you do. We are so sorry for your loss. Doug, I know you will miss her the most you were so close to her.
Mark and I had many fun times with Linda and John when they would come up to Connecticut.
We loved Linda very much and we will never forget the fond memories we have of her.

I have many, many, many happy memories surrounding you and your family.....not sure why that is....surely everything wasn't always perfect and happy-go-lucky, however if you could see the “movie” that is my memory, you'd see what I mean...

I remember driving to the beauty shop (on Karla) with my mom, pulling into the parking lot and checking out the Ford Thunderbird......I can't remember now, but I absolutely knew then which color was yours..........dark blue or black....one was yours, one Pat's. I would look at it pulling up until I could make out the color.....wanted it to be yours, meaning obviously that you were working that day........Weird huh....well,,not really to me. Usually either me or my sister would go to Mrs. Cowell's (Is that how you spell her name??) and one of us would go to the shop........I loved it when you were up there. Some people just have a presence, a way of talking, a way of almost “holding court” when they talk. You are one of those people, I just wanted to be there to listen to your stories, and interact with you.
 
I remember going to a dude ranch where Johnny was playing.  That day is so hazy, but I remember it as a great time, me and my family had never done anything like that before and we really enjoyed it.......swimsuits, pools, running around, were there horses??, not sure, but I do remember some guy in the parking lot with a chain....crazy time!!

I remember going to church with y'all.....great memories....remember being introduced to Brother Martin, remember being Baptized. Thanks, Linda. This all happened at a pivotal time in mine and my family's life. We needed friends, you and your family were the best kind.

Soccer games, birthday parties, family get-togethers...I remember fishing, watching fires burn and seeing the Little Jets win a championship......I have so many joyful memories of you. Always something nice to say......I've never, ever heard you talk down to someone, use abusive or profane language, never even see you in a foul mood.....not that you don't or can't get that way......this is just simply my experience, my memories, what Linda Brunette is to me

I love you Linda and I want to thank you for being a part of my life. Thanks for being a positive role model, Thanks for taking the time to care.
