Linda was the daughter of Walter and Ruby Brothers of Garland, Texas. She is survived by her beloved sister, Retha Rodgers. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Gene, and by her infant son, Nathan, whom she carried in her heart throughout her life.
She leaves behind her three children, who were the pride of her life: Greg Morgan and his wife Kristi, along with their children Josh and Kathleen; Pam Prentice and her son Blake; and Lisa Barth and her husband Brian, with their children Alyssa, Andrew, and Caleb. She also leaves behind three nephews Ken Jr., Michael and Devon.
For many years, Linda served in the Garland Independent School District as a Special Education school bus driver, a role she embraced with patience, compassion, and unwavering dedication. She cared deeply for the children she transported, treating each one with dignity and kindness.
A devoted Christian, Linda lived her faith openly and joyfully. She shared the gospel with anyone willing to listen, and her daily conversations with the Lord were her source of strength. She loved to garden, cook, and spend time studying her Bible. In her younger years, she was active in her church, singing and Sunday school classes, where she thrived in fellowship and loved discussing the blessings Jesus had poured over her family. She supported numerous Christian ministries around the world and carried a heart for service that never dimmed.
Linda was known for her determination, her strong work ethic, and her ability to tackle any task set before her. When she put her mind to something, she followed through with focus and perseverance.
Above all, Linda lived a life of selfless love. She had a deep desire to make others happy, often putting their needs before her own without hesitation.
