In Loving Memory

It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Linda Miller Seals of Royse City, a beloved mother, teacher, missionary, and friend. She passed away peacefully on Monday, June 23, 2025. She was born to Reaver and Rip Miller on October 11,1944, in Lynchburg, Virginia.

Lin was a devoted wife, mom, and friend, known for her sense of humor. A woman of joy and strength, she loved being a teacher and nurturing others. first as a missionary in Africa- and later in the classroom as a teacher before retiring in 2011. Lin loved the beach and was always ready to travel with a good book in her hand.

She was a devoted wife to her late husband, whom she loved deeply. Together, they built a life of laughter, love, and purpose. Her family meant the world to her, and she poured her heart into raising her two children, Amber and Matthew, with warmth, wisdom, and grace.

Those who knew Lin remember her as someone who could light up a room with her laughter. She was fun and lighthearted, but also deeply thoughtful, living her life with compassion for her students, courage, and a quiet but powerful strength.

Her legacy lives on through the countless lives she touched as a teacher, a mentor, a mother, and a friend. Lin was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard Seals, in 2020. She is survived by her daughter, Amber McCormack (Ian); son, Matthew Milburn (Cindi); and stepdaughter, Nikki Seals; grandchildren, Dylan and Sydney, Zoe and Paige; sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Carroll Shepherd of Virginia.

A memorial service to celebrate her beautiful life is pending at this time. She will missed more than words can express.
