Linda Kay Bowers was born on September 29, 1955, in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was the eldest daughter of Wesley Bowers Sr. and Ethel Lee Bowers. She was the wife to Larry Stevenson, and mother to Linda Kay Stevenson (Kelly) and Jason Stevenson.
Linda attended South Oak Cliff High School in Dallas, Texas.
Linda always had a desire to serve in her community. Her passion to serve led her to work in the Desoto Nursing home, daycare centers and in the public-school industry. Her service has left a great impact in her community and her smile will forever be imprinted on our hearts.
Linda leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Larry Stevenson, two children, Linda Kaye Kelly (Brian Kelly), and Jason Stevenson of Dallas, Texas. She also leaves behind her father, Wesley Bowers Sr. and her siblings, Wesley Bowers Jr., Anthony Bowers (Sherry), Terry Bowers (Tina) and Rita Coates (Marble) and 5 grandchildren, Christopher Anderson Jr., Xavier and Kaylin Anderson, Christian, Isiah, and Elijah Kelly. As well as a host of relatives and friends.
