

Linda Kay Terry, 70, passed away on August 28, 2026. Born April 5, 1956, in Midland, Texas, Linda was a woman whose steady compassion and kind-hearted presence left a lasting imprint on those who had the privilege of knowing her. She lived in Arlington, Texas.
Linda was born in Midland, Texas, and graduated from Midland High School in 1974.
Linda worked as a nurse, a calling that reflected her deep concern for people and her willingness to serve with patience, dignity, and grace.
In 1994, Linda married Thomas E. Terry. She is survived by her husband, Thomas E. Terry; children, Katherine James, Shannon Nickols, and Jason Terry and wife Robin; grandsons, Travis James, Dalton James, and Cooper Terry; and sisters, Carol Dewbre and Cynthia Reed. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.
Outside of work and family, Linda found joy in camping and reading, and her curiosity seemed to reach in every direction—interested in everything, always attentive to what life might teach or reveal. She also loved her dogs and devoted herself to rescuing dogs, offering care and safety in a way that reflected the tenderness and generosity that defined her life.
Linda will be remembered with respect and gratitude—for her compassion, her gentle spirit, and the sense of adventure that accompanied her through the years. Her memory will remain a comfort and a blessing to all who loved her.
