Lisa Fran Mellow

Lisa Fran Mellow, 49, of Boston, MA formerly of Dallas, TX passed away on Monday, June 30, 2014 at her residence. She will always be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, aunt, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend to all who knew and loved her. Her generous spirit was a gift to everyone whose life she touched.

She was born in Dallas, TX on September 22, 1964. She was a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and an active alumnus. Lisa was an Occupational Therapist and was working towards her certification for teaching dyslexic children. She was passionate about Judaism and Israel. She spoke fluent French and was fortunate to have lived in Paris for a time.

Survivors include her mother, Nancy Wiener Marcus, of Dallas, TX a brother, Jeff Mellow and wife, Mary Kate of Montclair, NJ niece and nephew, Ana and Sam Mellow, Grandmother, Fan “Mimi” Wiener, Aunt Sandra Mellow Wolf, Uncle Roger and Aunt Harriet Mellow, Uncle Tom and Aunt Felice Wiener and many loving cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Leon Mellow.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tues., July 8th at 11:00 am at Temple Shalom, 6930 Alpha Rd., Dallas, TX 75240.
