Lois Renee Gordon

Lois Renee Gordon, born May 12th, 1969 went to be with Jesus on May 13th, 2024 at the age of 55. Lois was born in Dallas, Texas where she lived most of her life and later moved to Wichita Falls, Texas.

Preceded in death by her parents Gene Gordon Sr and Mary Alice Sierra, sister Maria Victoria Reyes and her young son Jonathan Steven Fletcher.

She is survived by her brother Gene Gordon, Jr and wife Jennifer of Santa Fe, Tx; sister Donna Maldonado and husband Bonifacio of Dallas, Tx; daughters Lorin Bunch of Wichita Falls, Tx; and Ashley Paulson of Culleoka, TN; and one fur baby Rascal; and a host of nieces and nephews.

When Lois lost her only son in 2001 she turned to the Lord and spent many years keeping His spirit alive through her love of Christ and through writing. She loved her dog Rascal, and would oftentimes go on walks with him. She enjoyed singing and songwriting and had a love for old music. She spent most of her time in prayer with the Lord and she had a confidence in His love for her throughout her days on earth.

Her spirit was one of Grace and kindness, meekness and humility. If she had Jesus, she had everything she needed. She was so loved and cherished, and the time she spent here on earth is but a breath. She knew her purpose in this life was to help others in any way she could, and she loved to serve the needy and less fortunate. She found joy in praising the Lord, and she passed that same joy onto her daughter Lorin.

Graveside service will be Monday, August 26, 2024 at 3:30 pm at Grove Hill Memorial Park.
