Lorene Manning Tramell was born on March 23, 1923. She went home to be with the Lord on June 29, 2015. She was at home surrounded by her loving caregivers, daughter Sandy and son-in-law Sam, along with special loved ones who were by her bedside. They were telling their favorite memories and laughing when Gwen looked up and saw that God had called Lorene home. They decided it was the Lord’s way of letting her know it was okay to let go, knowing that she would see them again in Heaven.
Lorene was preceded in death by her loving grandparents, Clyde and Alice Manning; her mother, Augusta Slayton Manning; her father, William Manning; her husband of 67 years, Thomas Tramell; her brothers, Marion and Howard Manning; her twin sister, Glorene Casey; her son, Stuart Tramell; and her daughter, Brenda Parker.
She is survived by five generations of family, and many friends who loved her.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 5, 2015 from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M., and Funeral Services will be Monday, July 6, 2015 at 10:00 A.M., all at Grove Hill Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Grove Hill Memorial Park.
