Lorenzo (Tony) age 70, was born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico on August 10th, 1950 to Ventura Medina and Maria Magdalena Medina. He was raised in Laredo, Texas along with his seven siblings. At the age of 21 he moved to Dallas, TX where he married his wife Tomasa Medina on January 22nd, 1972, for 49 years. Together they had three children.

Lorenzo passed on January 6th, 2021 at Methodist Dallas Medical Center. He is survived by his mother Maria Magdalena Medina; his wife Tomasa Medina; his three children, Marco Antonio Medina, Maria Magdalena Medina, and Mariza Perez; his grandchildren, Angela Eguia, Mariza Sanchez, Michael Castro, Moses Garcia and Adrian Hernandez; great grandbabies, Albert Perez, Jr., Lylah Eguia, Melanie Eguia, Erica Eguia, Eric Eguia Jr, Moses Garcia Jr, Gabriel Sanchez, and Malachi Hernandez; his siblings Reina Miranda, Idalia Cruz, Laura Tristan, Thelma Heil, Brenda Medina and Luis Medina, along with many nieces, nephwes, and other family and friends.

Lorenzo was the rock to his family. A man full of strength and encouragement. He was stern yet loving with a big heart. You didn't catch him smiling often, not because he was mad or sad but because he had the most serious face in the world, even when he was happy. and when he laughed, it was a priceless moment. He enjoyed gambling which included card games, bingos, casinos, lottery and scratch off tickets. He was the grill master during family events and if you were outside with him, he would let you have a sneak taste of the fajitas. The Medina Kingdom will not be the same without him. He will be truly miss but never forgotten. He will always live in our hearts and memories forever.
