Lori and I were friends in grade school. We lost touch after graduation. Everyone called me Petey back then. I remember she was at my house and we were eating ice cream. I noticed my dog licking her ice cream. I was horrified and I said Lori! The dog's eating your ice cream. She just laughed and calmly kept on eating her ice cream. That's what I remember about her. She loved animals and she was happy and carefree. I'm so sorry for your loss. I know she'll be missed. She was a bright and shining star.
